Our BELIEFS: Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God (Isaiah 9:6; Micah 5:2; John 1:1).  As the God-man, he was virgin born (Matthew 1:16; Galatians 4:4).  He suffered temptation at the hand of Satan but could not succumb because of His impeccable nature (Hebrews 2:14-18, 4:15). 

We believe that salvation for sinful man was provided through the substitutionary work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.  The shedding of His blood satisfies the just requirements of a holy God concerning sin (Matthew 20:28; I Peter 2:24, 3:18).  We believe in His physical resurrection (John 20:20,27) and physical ascension to the right hand of the Father (Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 10:12).  He is presently interceding there for the blood bought child of God (Hebrews 4:14-16; I John 2:1).
